~I'm listening for birds~

Hearts bend ‘cause they can’t break
When they can’t take
All that is given to them

Glass eyes on your sad face
It’s a sad story
somebody’s written on you

Love in my heart,
right from the start
So please take me with you

Birds sing out the window
Sing out the window
Do you hear those birds
sing out the window
Sing out the window

Take me with your shovel
We’ll burry all your troubles
All your troubles

Oh the light is always on you
Always in the light
~Shovel by Katie Herzig

Today my dad called. He got the results...
not operable...

I am listening for the birds...♪♫♪♪♫

I'm so sorry about the non-operable news. I'm still praying for your dad and hoping for miracles. I'm singing with you.

So glad you're turning to music, Jenn. It doesn't fix things, but it can make grief more bearable somehow. I'm so sorry, I know how you were hoping. ~hugs~

Your blog speaks of joy. I am sorry that your dad is faced with the news that he is. Cancer is not easy. I have lost 3 family members to it but my mom has survived it and through each battle with it, our family has grown in so many ways. I hope that this will be a period of growth for you as well.

First, I have to say that it is so appropriate that I am sitting here drinking my yummy Earl Grey as I have wrapped myself up in the lovely and cozy blanket that is your blog.
How wonderful is it to find such kindred spirits along this journey?

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I know you will nourish him. You have nourished me ... especially today ... with your lovely words that are full of colour and light.
I hope you can feel some of my strength as you are on this journey, all that is life and renewal and healing. I am with you.
